This is a rigorous, high-intensity, camp for incoming 9th-12th graders.
The purpose of this camp is to prepare you for the upcoming 2012 volleyball season, giving you an opportunity to play in your own gym with the teammates you will have for the duration of the season. It consists of fundamental fine tuning, offensive/defensive systems, serving strategies, advanced hitting and blocking, teamwork/mental toughness drills, and lots of competition, with an hour of conditioning at the end.
Our camp instructor will be Jeff Hamm.
Jeff Ham is the owner and Training Director for Houston Juniors Volleyball Club in Houston, Texas.
He was the assistant coach at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX for 8 seasons and Head Coach at the school for 1 year. Jeff spent 5 seasons at South Shore Volleyball Club in Clear Lake before becoming Assistant Director and Head Trainer for Texas Tornados Volleyball Club a job he held for 5 years till leaving for Texas Pride and now Houston Juniors. Jeff is also a founding member of the Lone Star Region High Performance Program.
