PARENT MIXER

3 Volunteers: 1 Coordinator and 2 Assistants
The LTVB Booster Club holds an annual fundraiser to kick off the season.  The Coordinator will find a venue for the vent and finalize the menu.  They will work within the predetermined budget, review with the Booster President and sign the event contract.  The assistants will determine if decorations are needed and will decorate the night of the event.  The assistants will coordinate a raffle and silent auction for the event.  A spreadsheet will be provided from the past year's event with information on past donors. The assistants will then use a spreadsheet for tracking donations and created bid sheets for the event.  The assistants will collect items for a raffle, silent auction and live auction during the event.  This will involve canvassing the community or volleyball families for donation items. Volunteers will then prepare the silent auction items including bid sheets, setup the auction the night of the event and coordinate delivery of items to the auction winners.  This fun kick-off event is held soon after tryouts in early August, therefore, the majority of the work for this event is accomplished in June and July.
